The wide range of courses currently on offer at Rainford are listed in the menu on the left, although we are constantly reviewing our provision.

Students enroll initially on AS courses, sitting external examinations at the end of the first year. They re-enroll at the beginning of Year 13 following the AS results and a four week taster of A2 modules. They are thus able to  make a more informed choice about which subjects to complete at Advanced Level.

Our curriculum organisation allows students to mix A2 and AS modules which provides great flexibility in Year 13 for students to maximise their results.

Rainford also provides the opportunity for students to enrol for both AS and A2 General Studies.
