Review of Manchester University by Rebecca Thompson

The University of Manchester is in cosmopolitan city, which is modern, exciting and vibrant. When we got to the university you could see hundreds of students piling into the Whitworth Building, which looked like it could have been used to film the sequel of Harry Potter.

I then went to a lecture from one of the University’s Board members who gave us an introductory speech about the University.

Did you know that 23 Nobel Prize winners studied at Manchester? Well they were all men; so girls we need to get ourselves on that list of Nobel Prize winners and more importantly did you know that the University is 5th in the UK for academic success and 40th in the world university rankings! So by these figures it must be one of the best in the North West!

One student I spoke to says she was amazed at how excellent the University was:

“I didn’t know that Manchester University was one of the biggest in the UK. The facilities are great and all subjects are well catered for.”

I have to say that Manchester Uni did meet all my expectations and more. I think that anyone who decides to go there will have a great experience, that will surely put them on the road to success in the future.
