Rainford College is the Post 16 provision of Rainford High Technology College. We are housed in a purpose built unit with its own dining room, study area, and classroom facilities as well as a resource centre and a student common room. The College provides for approximately 300 students – large enough to facilitate a broad range of subjects yet still ensure that all students are known as individuals and personally supported.
- Rainford College offers an excellent range of Advanced Level courses open to both our year 11 students and students from the surrounding areas.
- We have in our view the best of both worlds – a distinct college environment and ethos and the availability of the whole school resources.
- Many of our College students develop leadership and organisational skills working with younger students and become excellent role models. Their achievements provide our younger students with much to aspire to.
